                       Welcome, this is a little bit about me Thomas Tonkin and my professional experience and studio.

 

I've worked as an Illustrator and designer in almost every aspect of the field for the past 25 years, primarily as a storyboard and concept artist in the advertising and entertainment businesses, as well as a finished illustrator in publishing and comics in NYC.

I have more recently been specializing in finished illustration and vector design for the apparel and fashion industries. My most current projects have included over 150 original vector designs and illustrations for garments and posters for the U.S. National Park Service. This has encompassed conceptualizing and executing original designs, graphics and illustration as well as overseeing their print production on garments for many National Historical Parks and monuments and U.S. National Parks.

Other recent clients in the area of vector design and illustration for garments have included General Motors, Ford Motor Company, The United Auto Workers, and many other trade unions.

I'm available for freelance work, and willing to discuss any project and budget big or small. I've also proudly designed and Illustrated work for high-school and college sports teams, fire and police departments and small businesses.
